I hope your week is going well. Here’s a new story challenge for you:
Can you tell a story in 15 words? You must use the following words somewhere in the story:
- JELLY
- WINDOW
- LLAMA
Last week’s prompt was to tell a story in 29 words using the following words in it somewhere:
- ARMY
- DUCK
- PINK
- COFFEE
- FENCE
Here are your hilarious stories:
When I was in the army, I looked through the guard fence and saw a rare pink duck while sipping my coffee during breakfast at the officer’s club! Shocking!
My neighbour just said “An army of pink ducks just walked past my fence!” to which I replied “what is in your coffee?” We fell about laughing uproariously! (fact)
Chris Page:
Trips along the Thames in a pink ex-army duck were cancelled after the amphibious craft, as it was leaving the water, smashed through the fence of a coffee shop.
Sharron P:
The coffee-coloured fence at the army barracks was surrounded by raucous ducks. The Colonel was livid. Private Carter pinky promised he’d have them back in the canal by lunchtime.

When Jan approached the barn, a llama appeared in the window. Jan turned to jelly.
(“Turned to jelly” – he became weak from fright – I had “Jan’s knees turned to jelly,” but it was 16 words…)
