  7. It is kind of funny, but it’s also annoying to see folks so consumed with what’s on their phones rather than the people and what’s happening right around them. I used to get angry when I’d be walking on a narrow sidewalk, and someone would be coming straight at me, oblivious to my presence and unconcerned for my wellbeing–if I didn’t move for them. Oh well, now days I’m safe at home, not out and about. Blessings to you Esther!😊

    1. Thanks, Cale. I agree – it is annoying when you’re out and someone nearly bumps into you as they’re looking at their phone. Blessings ❤️

      1. I guess you’ve had the same experience–I’m thinking there should be separate walking “lanes” for folks who do that–like designated lanes on freeways😉

  10. My husband and I were just commenting last night about a scene in a movie where the whole family were on their cell phones instead of interacting with each other.

  12. I like the idea of phones off for a family gathering. But it will never happen since cell phones are like a second heart these days. I still have a land line and am actually able to turn off my cell phone at night. I know not everyone can do that.

We had a weird thing happen the other night – and Uber driver insited we go to our door and pick up our order. Which we didn’t place! Someone got the phone number wrong. Several texts and even a call from Uber costumer service! They didn’t want to believe us. Then the next day Hubby gets a call from someone asking him who he was – He didn’t say and asked them three times; “Who are you?” After the third time he said, “Third time I’m asking you, who are you? – no reply goodbye.”
