Not such a funny one this week as this really is what it’s come to…

It is kind of funny, but it’s also annoying to see folks so consumed with what’s on their phones rather than the people and what’s happening right around them. I used to get angry when I’d be walking on a narrow sidewalk, and someone would be coming straight at me, oblivious to my presence and unconcerned for my wellbeing–if I didn’t move for them. Oh well, now days I’m safe at home, not out and about. Blessings to you Esther!😊
Saw a family of four in a cafe all on phones and not saying a word to each other.
My husband and I were just commenting last night about a scene in a movie where the whole family were on their cell phones instead of interacting with each other.
I like the idea of phones off for a family gathering. But it will never happen since cell phones are like a second heart these days. I still have a land line and am actually able to turn off my cell phone at night. I know not everyone can do that.
We had a weird thing happen the other night – and Uber driver insited we go to our door and pick up our order. Which we didn’t place! Someone got the phone number wrong. Several texts and even a call from Uber costumer service! They didn’t want to believe us. Then the next day Hubby gets a call from someone asking him who he was – He didn’t say and asked them three times; “Who are you?” After the third time he said, “Third time I’m asking you, who are you? – no reply goodbye.”
