This week’s writing prompt is:
NEW BEGINNINGS
Spring is known as the season of new beginnings, where the natural word rejuvenates and revives, but what else could be a new beginning? Perhaps a relationship has come to an end and there’s the need for a fresh start. Or maybe someone has done something wrong and wants to make amends. The new beginning could relate to a job, a house move or trying a new hobby.

FLOWERS IN BLOOM
You don’t have to share your work, but I’d love to see what you come up with if the prompt gives you an idea. Here are a couple of lovely pieces on last week’s prompt:
The other day we were flying by
I captured the sight of bright red with my eye
First I thought is was berries bright
But it was blooming flowers, to my delight!
I visited Rode Hall in Staffordshire this weekend to see flowers in bloom. It was the annual Snowdrop Walk. It’s about a mile of paths around gardens and woods and along to a lake where thousands of Snowdrops of various species are in flower at this time of year.
We had to book a time slot to get a parking space because the ground is saturated after a very wet winter and there would not be enough space in the car park otherwise. My friend and I had a lovely walk around the grounds. We were a bit disappointed because a lot of the snowdrops have already gone over (finished flowering), but there were other flowers in bloom including daffodils, helibores, cyclamen, camelia, and other flowers and shrubs. Flowers are blooming and spring is on its way!
So much promise, so much to bring.

The hedgerows in flower, the swallows that soar,
A carpet of bluebells on the forest floor.
A time to be happy, A time just to ponder.
A beautiful bounty of colour and wonder.
