Funny Of The Week/Seriously Silly Signs Part One

I thought it was about time that I started another ‘Funny of the Week‘ series. As always, being a writer, it’s centred around words and this series is all about double entendres. Enjoy!

  2. Great!! I’ve seen a few good ones too. I saw on a door in what used to be the Howard Johnson hotel in Sandwell a notice saying ‘This room is not to be used for any purpose’, and more recently a sign in my local Lidl offering ‘Celery storks’.

  3. Wonder if they’ve got double doors, so the very large remaining diner can leave…
Also – looks like it’s a self service place since there are no waiters allowed…

  4. The sign by the lift in my apartment block reads like this:

    Please do NOT bash the
    sides of the lift. This
    causes the lift to
    break down leaves

    TENANTS STRANDED

    Beautiful grammatificationalisation and formatification…
