Can You Tell A Story In…

Here’s a new story challenge for you. Can you tell a story in 56 words using the following words in it somewhere:

  • RIFFRAFF
  • AEROSOL
  • WAG
  • MANUSCRIPT
  • BED
  • TRIANGLE

The previous challenge was to write a story in 32 words using the following three words in it somewhere:

  • JUNGLE
  • RISOTTO
  • WALRUS

Here are your brilliant stories:

Lou By The Sea:

Revenge

The carnivorous chef disrespected the vegans on the jungle expedition.

“ Walrus Rissotto tonight,” he sneered.

See how the jungle beasts lie in wait for a chef to pee in the bush tonight.

Sillyfrog’s Blog:

Mystery Flavor

No major PETA donor had ever been to a jungle, much less the Poles.

Yet when convention members raved over the exotic tasting risotto, several fainted finding the mystery flavor was walrus.

poetisinta:

Otto’s Risotto

In the jungle lived a walrus called Otto,

Who liked an ephemeral risotto,

He ate it straight from the pot,

Alas, it was far too hot,

So he ran about saying give me gelato!

Aptivi’s Joyful Corner:

The Walrus’ Gratitude

A walrus was chilling in a jungle during cold winter when he saw a plate full of cooked risotto with fish. He swallowed the whole dish in one go and showed gratitude.

Pictures Imperfect Blog:

The Fab One

The bull walrus didn’t understand French but felt good to be out of the jungle. “I am the walrus,” it sang. And gobbled its risotto: Goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g joob …

Graeme Sandford:

The Walrus And The Carabinieri

“Had mushroom risotto for tea.

“just like my mama used to make…“

Said the Carabinieri.

“… in the jungle, when I was three!”

The walrus said, “Tsk, tsk, tsk!”

Crystal:

With my pet walrus we traveled through the jungle together eating rissotto to live off of until someone rescued us.

The Afterlove Voice:

Lost in the jungle, Maria smelled risotto cooking nearby. Following the delicious aroma, she discovered a walrus stirring dinner over a campfire. He offered her a bowl. She accepted. Questions could wait.

Rall:

cooking risottoin the jungle

was no funthe walrus stole half

the food while she washed

pots and pans in the river

she should have shot him

but she couldn’t

he looked a bit like her uncle

Therapy Bits:

Deep in the jungle, a hungry walrus discovered a steaming bowl of risotto. He ate happily until monkeys appeared, demanding a taste. Together, they shared dinner beneath the glowing moon.

Pensitivity101:

The party was in full swing, elephant trumpets blaring, and jungle fever at its best.

Chef Walrus was in his element, his specialty rissotto bubbling nicely, even the chimps were behaving themselves.

Susan Batten:

On my last trip, I lived off the jungle. Now I’m sick of risotto and peas. Next month in the Arctic, I’m studying the walrus – just fish, with no chips, I fear.

John W. Howell:

On safari and lost in the jungle we came upon a hut with a restaurant sign. The chef sporting a walrus mustache offered only snake risotto. We drank a lot of gin instead.

Dan Ince:

The Fair Weather Walrus

Being something of a fair-weather walrus, Clive wanted to live somewhere warmer. The decision was between the Amazon Jungle or Italy. He chose Italy because he couldn’t get enough of the risotto.

Dawgy Daddy Responds:

Maurice the penguin survived in the jungle. His best friend George, a walrus who was know for his risotto dishes accompanied him on a quest that turned out to be quite fruitful.

Richmond Road:

There’s risotto on the bathroom floor
There’s a walrus in your dinner
When it comes to cooking
I’m a zoology beginner
(Step into the bedroom
where I’ll show you I’m a winner)

Lily’s Corner:

Inspired By Risotto

The jungle gym was the place Ms. Walrus went when she was inspired to write. Today, she was pleasantly motivated to write about her flavourful scrumptious risotto chicken she had for lunch.

The Bag Lady:

“The walrus doesn’t belong in a jungle,” he told his art students. “What type is it?”

All answered surreal. They were rewarded by a meal of Italian risotto at a nearby restaurant.

iMartist:

Worst Night Ever

At Michelin star restaurant The Jungle, I tried the Walrus Risotto. My stomach protested this meal, and I made a mad dash to the men’s room, which, unfortunately for me, was occupied.

Ann Edall-Robson:

The sign on the door said, “Food Anonymous.”

“My name’s Walrus,” he said, then pointed to the others. “I don’t belong in this jungle, but I’m addicted to risotto. I need you.”

Teleportingweena:

Wonky Walrus  – da dum da dum

Wanted Rissotto – da dum da dum

Went to the Jungle – da dum da dum

Wasted his time – da dum da dum

Couldn’t find any Rissottto – bummer

The Elephant’s Trunk:

Bungle In The Jungle

Chef Rufus Walrus stirred his signature dish in his alfresco jungle-themed restaurant.

“Mmm, fresh tusk-picked mushrooms”, he beamed, oblivious to the creeping jaguar deciding whether to eat the risotto or the cook.

Carpet Boots:

The Onlooker

A jungle of small eager faces waited, bubbling like risotto. I spoke, they simmered, seemingly unaware. The predator was silently watching them with beady eyes like a walrus. The lesson observation began.

  2. My Story Is:

As I was writing my Manuscript in Bed last night while doodling a Triangle for no reason at all then my cat gave a Wag of her white fluffy tail meaning trouble was approaching so I grabbed the Aerosol can on the night bed table and when the Riffraff came after my white fluffy cat and I that’s when I took care of him with the Aerosol can and restrained him with that until the police came.

I sent my manuscript to an agent.

Set in the Bermuda Triangle, it’s about this man who lies in bed all day. His wife calls him ‘layabout riffraff’. She kicks him out and squirts everywhere with aerosol to get rid of his stink and replaces him with a dog called Wag.

    The verdict? Another rejection letter.
