I think the same applies to beer. I’ve been drinking the stuff most of my life and no one has ever attempted to kidnap me. Not once! So it works. I can also confirm, based upon years of personal statistics that it’s also an effective elephant repellent.
When I explain to Mrs Richmond that I drink enormous quantities of the stuff purely as a safety measure she expresses scepticism, and the truth is that she’s never been kidnapped or attacked by an elephant either. But I put that down to dumb luck. -

Love it! I was out doing errands today and had to talk myself out of stopping for a chocolate treat. This sign might have changed my mind, lol.
