It’s Thursday and story time. Here’s the latest story challenge:
Can you tell a story in 21 words? You must use the following words somewhere in the story:
- MANGO
- KEYS
- SKATEBOARD
- GOBLET
Last week’s prompt was to tell a story in 50 words using the following words in it somewhere:
- CHESS
- WIGGLE
- MUESLI
- EMBRACE
- MOUSE
- PRINCE
- BLISTER
- COMPLAINT
Here are your hilarious stories:
“Wow, I think you had too much muesli this morning! If you keep wiggling like that, you’re going to get a blister!” The mouse prince sat on the other side of the table, trying to sit still enough to embrace the chess board. The arbiter in charge voiced no complaint.
The bowl of cereal sat untouched. The Prince preferred to eat Muesli with no milk, because he shared it with Mr. Wiggle Mouse when they played chess.
Cook’s reply to his complaint reminded him of a festering blister. “Embrace it as served, Sir. I kill vermin, not feed them…Sir.”
Murray Clarke:
Determined to embrace his complaint, the handsome prince, ignoring the blister on his poorly finger, found he was able to wiggle it and had no trouble at all playing chess, eating a bowl of muesli, and was even tempted to try a slice of the slightly-burnt mouse he’d cooked earlier.
As they played chess they saw a ‘mouse’ wiggle out of the skirting board. It ran up the dresser and grabbed some muesli. The Prince embraced his butler. “That’s her,” he said. “The Princess was transformed by the Blistered Witch after a complaint from her two ugly sisters,” he cried!
Squirreljan:
After scoffing all the muesli, the mouse, Blister, escaped across the chess board. “You can’t wiggle out of this. I’m making a complaint to your superiors.” The prince was furious until he realised what had happened and gave Blister a warm embrace. “I’ve won! You’ve nudged my opponent into checkmate.”
Sharron P:
The champion chess-playing mouse had a blister on his nose. His doctor advised muesli as a cure. The mouse wiggled and wrinkled his nose. “Yeah, right. And you’re a prince!” If this didn’t work, he’d put in a complaint.
Next time he saw his doctor, he embraced him. “Prince Doctor!”
