Can You Tell A Story In…

I hope your week is going well. Here’s a new story challenge for you:

Can you tell a story in 29 words? You must use the following words somewhere in the story:

  • ARMY
  • DUCK
  • PINK
  • COFFEE
  • FENCE

Last week’s prompt was to tell a story in 22 words using the following words in it somewhere:

  • TOFU
  • SURPRISE
  • DINOSAUR
  • POLITICIAN

Here are your amusing stories:

Kim Smyth:

Our local politician was eating his tofu when – Surprise! A dinosaur crashed through the window of the restaurant he was dining at!

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

Our dinosaur politician was so old, it was a surprise he ate tofu. He was even interested in vegan gluten free pies!

Darlene:

The politician, an old dinosaur who didn’t like tofu, was surprised to find it in his meal; shepherd’s pie without the shepherd.

Treehugger:

Our local politician was seen shopping for tofu dinosaur dippers for his three children. What a surprise! He owns a butcher’s shop.

Lance Greenfield:

DORSET DINOSAUR DISCOVERY

The Dorset Society of Vegan Palaeontologists surprised politicians by announcing their recent discovery of the fossil of a Tofurannosaurus.

Sharron P:

A vegan who doesn’t like tofu? That’s a surprise. But they’ve eaten dinosaur? What an outrage! I’ll write to my local politician.

  1. When I was in the army, I looked through the guard fence and saw a rare pink duck while sipping my coffee during breakfast at the officer’s club! Shocking!

  2. My neighbour just said “An army of pink ducks just walked past my fence!” to which I replied “what is in your coffee?” We fell about laughing uproariously! (fact)
