Can You Tell A Story In…

I hope your week is going well. Here’s a new story challenge:

Can you tell a story in 8 words? You must use the following words somewhere in the story:

  • PHANTOM
  • RESTAURANT

Last week’s prompt was to tell a story in 20 words using the following words in it somewhere:

  • TOE
  • FLAT
  • GRANDMOTHER
  • LETTUCE

Here are your fun stories:

Darlene:

As Grandmother washed the lettuce, a bug fell out onto the floor which she crushed flat with her big toe.

Kim Smith:

My grandmother ate her lettuce sandwich by the lake. She wore flat closed-toe sandals to hide her unpolished nails.

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

‘Lettuce’ pray said the eccentric grandmother ‘toe’ our dear lord of the flat earth (she inevitably always got words wrong)!

Val Fish:

Stuck in her top floor flat with a broken toe, grandmother asked me to fetch her a lettuce from Lidl’s.

Treehugger:

My poor old grandmother slipped on a wet lettuce leaf, fell flat on her face and stubbed her big toe.

Sharron P:

Grandmother hadn’t expected to find a toe in the middle of her lettuce. She fainted flat out on the floor.
