Book News – 99p!

Today, and over the weekend, you’ll be able to buy my two short story collections for 99p on kindle.

Here’s a little about A Walk in the Woods:

An autumnal stroll through the woods, colourful leaves crunching underfoot, the air fresh on the face, laughter and lightness portraying a happy mother and daughter scene. But something isn’t right…

A young boy who thought he knew his parents finds out that he doesn’t know them at all.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to die and then to look down upon yourself?

These are just a few of the scenes and scenarios found in A Walk In The Woods and other short stories. There are stories to make you smile, tales to bring a tear and stories to shock as well as delight.

And here are the details for The Storm:

There’s a clash of thunder and the brilliance of lightning. Huge waves gain momentum, slopping over the side of the boat, threatening to pull Carrie down into the murky depths. Will the storm win or will she make it to shore safely?

A computer hacker finds himself in trouble. Is it too late to change his ways?

It’s the long summer holidays and for one girl, it’s going to be a summer she’ll never forget.

A teenager is trapped. Can he free himself from his dark prison?

The Storm and Other Short Stories is Esther Chilton’s third collection of prize-winning stories, following on from the success of The Siege and A Walk in the Woods.

Some stories will surprise, others will melt your heart and bring a tear, and they’ll also be tales to leave you with a smile.

So grab yourself a cuppa, sit back and relax, and delve into this enchanting mixture of stories.

  2. As I said on Twitter so sorry for repeating myself lol, I’m hoping to purchase the paperback of The Storm, this weekend to stand with Walk in the Woods- I much prefer paperback/hardback more than Kindle. I hope I’m as lucky selling my first book as you have been ❤️
