A New Life
Agony antagonizing
Her,
Pulsating pain pushing
Her,
Woeful wails wrestle within
Her.
She screams, sweat seeps, soaking
Her,
Tears tumble, terror tortures
Her,
Growing grin grips
Her.
Baby born
Hers.

A rather perfect poem to read today on my daughter’s 17th birthday. It was not an easy birth, but the rewards were infinite. ❤
What a wonderful poem, Esther–beautifully done. I’m not a mom, but I could “feel” each phase 🙂 It’s good to be back to blogging again–I’ll try to wrestle up a limerick for you! Hope you and your family are doing well, with the holidays upon us 🙂 ❤
Thanks you so much, Jael. And it would be great to read your limerick if you’ve time 😊 Best wishes to you and your family ❤
