Can You Tell A Story In…

It’s Thursday and time for a new five-word challenge. Last week, I wanted you to stay HOME. This week, I want you to feel PROUD. So can you tell a story in five words, using the word PROUD in it somewhere?

Here are your HOME creations from last week:

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

Only home for the holidays.

Home-work then house work.

I got my car home.

Home made apple crumble cake.

My cat finally came home!

Astronaut home from outer space…

Take your baby sister home!

Kim Smyth:

I’m used to staying home.

I don’t like staying home.

WriteLindy:

My family is my home.

Home cooking revives in pandemic.

Home is more than house.

Phoning home connects across miles.

Sanandi-jacq:

Homegrown garden veg for sale.

Home never been so clean!

Home is where safety abides.

Nowhere cosier than lockdown home.

Garden rat threatens cosy home.

Trapped rat given new home.

Darlene:

Home is in my heart.

Please take me home now.

Home, not so sweet, home.

Home on the quiet range.

Susan:

“I’m home!”

“So what.”

“Bye.”

Ruth Scribbles:

HOME again home again yay!

Home is in my heart.

He’s not here, he’s home.

Tell me about your home.

My home was her escape.

He’s been hiding at home.

Let’s play hide-and-seek at home.

Ritu:

Remember; stay at home, please.

We are all home now

Home is my safe place.

Roberta Writes:

No more stay at home.

Let me out of home, please.

Home is for the birds.

Simon Farnell:

Home’s where my sanity left.

I need to be rehomed.

Are we safe at home?

Jason Moody:

Home is where cake lives.

Val Fish:

Home truths don’t half hurt.

Lockdown, home with hubby: hell!

Valjean’s ‘Bring Him Home’; breath-taking.

Home schooling’s no child’s play.

Stay safe; stay home. Period.

Sharon Harvey:

      1. The modesty thing is a very Australian point of view. We have something here called ‘the tall poppy syndrome’ which refers to the idea that if any poppy sticks it’s head up above the crowd it is in danger of being lopped off. It’s not that we are especially modest … we just value our heads.
