Writing Magazine have some super competitions and they have a non-fiction competition coming up. Here’s more about it:

‘Explore the real world in our creative non-fiction competition, whether that means a personal memoir, a pen portrait, an atmospheric research piece, or anything else… but whatever your topic and style, you’ll need to use your storytelling skills to bring the facts to life.’

Prizes:

1st: £200 and publication in Writing Magazine

2nd: £50 and publication online

Entry fee: £6 0r £4 for subscribers

Word limit: Between 1500 – 1700 words

Closing date: 15th June 2020
