If you win the SmokeLong Quarterly’s flash fiction competition you’ll be $2000 better off! There’s also prize money for other finalists.

Prizes:

1st: $2000 + automatic nomination for The Best Small Fictions, the Pushcart Prize, and Best of the Net, as well as publication in their 17th-anniversary contest issue in June

2nd: At least $200

3rd: At least $100

All the finalists will also be published in the June contest issue and will receive at least $50.

Feb 10 — April 26            $13.50 — up to two stories

April 27 — May 24           $15.50 — up to two stories

Word limit: up to 1000 words
