  1. This is funny, but it really is sad that more public typos and bad grammar are showing up in everything these days. Billboards, park benches advertisements, restaurants, it’s everywhere!

    Hi, Esther.

Please note my email address: jocelynbarker358@gmail.com and send all future emails to that address as I’ll stop using the old account once I’ve notified everyone (😱) of the new one.

I haven’t done much writing over the last 9 months as I was diagnosed with a lymphoma last May and spent most of last year receiving chemotherapy. I was fortunate that it was a curable lymphoma and I’m now in full remission. Then my gallbladder acted up at the end of November so I had a low-fat diet to keep it calm over Christmas (great fun!) and had it removed last Wednesday. Feeling a lot better now and I’m intending to get back to writing once I’m fully up to snuff. Plenty of material for me to use, of course …

I really like this funny, by the way. So reassuring. 😂🤣

    Hope you are well.

    Best wishes, Jocelyn.

    1. Jocelyn, I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been ill. Though I’m so pleased you’re in remission and that your surgery is over. Do take care and I hope you feel much better soon. It’s always good to hear from you. Do take care.
