Can You Tell A Story In…

It’s time for another five-word challenge. Last week I gave you something New and this week, I’m going back to the old. So can you tell a story in five words, using the word OLD in it somewhere?

Chris Page:

Another new year; new writing.

Ritu:

New year, new me – Nah!

New book, out THIS year!

I love a new morning.

Kids getting older. New worries.

I need a new wardrobe!

Happy new year to all!

I love my new bag.

Kim Smyth:

Wishing you great new ideas!

Making new dreams come true!

Hoping for re-new-ed weight loss!

I’m getting a new office!!

Ruth Scribbles:

My new dress is big.

New family members bring joy.

What’s new with you, today?

I want a new parks.

A new president is desired.

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

New painting with new colours!

New lamps for old lamps.

My new hairstyle so trendy.

New year, new life style.

Charles Norman:

A new year for me?

I knew it would be!

Paul L Mastaglio:

It’s brand new. Isn’t it?

You’re new to this area.

New Year brings new ideas.

Happy New Year from Paul.

Trent’s World:

What was old is new.

Nothing new under the sun.

A new and shiny day!

“What’s new?” “Nothing much. You?”

Bharul Chhatbar:

New is never the old!

New is walking without old!

Oh unveil dear, my new!

Nature says, challenge the new.

Val Fish:

New Year’s resolution already broken!

New Year Resolutions never last.

Brexit; the nation’s new beginning…

    The old ways are gone.

    Old and wiser? Maybe not!

  6. Hi Esther, the mad work conditions have continued so I’ll only get my post to you this weekend. SIGH! Working hard makes you old. Old age ends working life.

  7. The Winter Cold Gets Old – an old-fashioned poem by Trent
    My old hat freezes ears.
    Hands frozen in old gloves.
    Creates these old frozen tears.
    My old body needs heat.
    From head to old feet.
    If no old fashioned fire.
    My old fate is dire.
    So old winter go away
I wish for young spring today
(OK, so the last line didn’t fit – I’d get old forcing it 😉 )
