As many of you who have self-published will know, formatting your book, ensuring the book cover looks right etc, isn’t easy and there’s many a hurdle to be overcome along the way. This is exactly what’s happened with A Walk in the Woods. But, I think (fingers crossed!), I’m almost there. So the paperback version will be out in the next few days. I’ll keep you posted…

I hope it all goes smoothly for you. The only advice I can give you from our own experience, is not to bother with a proof copy but buy an author copy instead. When we published our first book the proof copy looked fine so we pressed the publish button only to have it rejected.We had to sort out issues we thought had already been dealt with.Getting it onto Amazon can be quite a struggle. Cathy Cade did our formatting, she is brilliant. I just designed the covers, the backpage blurb came from Val Chapman, an excellent copywriter.
