Can You Tell A Story In…

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year and here’s to a great 2020! For the first five-word challenge of the year, can you tell a story in five words, using the word NEW in it somewhere?

Last week, your story needed to contain the word WISH. You sent in some great ideas. Here they are:

Sanandi-Jacq:

To wish is sowing seeds.

To write profusely … I wish!

Nature’s wish is balanced ecology.

Wish well to create future.

A wish is mind dreaming.

Bottled-up wish genie unplugged. Magic!

Ritu:

I wish I was thin…

Wish chocolate was calorie free…

Hope your wishes come true.

Ruth Scribbles:

I wish I knew you.

Must every wish be attainable?

Wishing you a great 2020.

My one wish – no pain.

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

Wish it was Christmas again.

Wish upon a star trooper.

Your wish, not my command!

Make a wish for me.

I wish this was champagne.

A kiss is a wish.

Paul L Mastaglio:

What’s on your wish list?

We wish you were here.

You’ve one more wish left.

Trent’s World:

Wish I had an idea…

Oh well, no use wishing.

Here’s wishing for better times!

Bharul Chhatbar:

Wish the world without war.

Wish, the wish falls true.

Wish false witches would vanish.

Wish I go on writing!

Fenlandphil:

Wish for a better world.

Wish for a wish list.

Wish for sanity, more needed.

Val Fish:

Got my wish, Christmas kiss!

Wish you were here, not!

How I wish I hadn’t…
