Markets For Writers

Do you enjoy writing dialogue? Then why not write a story that’s dialogue-only? This is the requirement for one of Writing Magazine‘s latest competitions.

No attribution, no description – just tell us what was said. You’ll need to use all your narrative skills to paint a scene, define a character and tell a story, while still keeping your dialogue realistic and flowing.’

Prizes:

1st: £200 + publication in Writing Magazine

Runner-up: £50 + publication on-line

Entry fee: £5, or £3 for subscribers

Word limit: 1500-1700 words

Closing date: 15th February 2020

        I start on the book in January after cut back on work hours, although I have many thoughts. I entered the 1000 word challenge so Sunday is a big day ha. Thank you Esther
