Entries are accepted worldwide. $25 dollars goes to the best one. The winning entry is published in the paper as are several runners-up.

It looks like they feature a new image and limerick competition every other month, so if you miss one, there’s always another to come.

    Thanks, Esther. I’ve entered a couple of times and my entry was runner up in the May / June comp. Readers might enjoy the comments on those results: who knew limericks could be so controversial?!

  4. I actually won this one back in 2014. I was so pleased that I laminated the cheque and stuck it on my wall.
