This week, it’s the letter B‘s turn. And B is for BABY.
Did you know that there are a lot of baby and parenting magazines out there? Many of them invite articles from mums and dads, on all aspects of parenting. They also usually have letters pages, offering prizes and pages full of baby photos. Here are a few to check out:
Most of the women’s weeklies have letters pages and filler slots which use photos of babies and toddlers, together with a caption. They pay well too.
For the fiction fans and poets amongst you, there are plenty of storylines which centre around babies and children. Here are a few to set you thinking:
- A baby who fights for its life and who wins through
- A child who goes missing and is found
- Parents splitting up/losing a parent – as told through the eyes of the child
- The joy of a new life coming into the world
