Enjoy writing crime and/or thrillers? Then the latest Writing Magazine short story competition could be for you. You have between 1500-1700 words in which to tell your tale. 

Prizes:

1st:    £200 plus publication in Writing Magazine

2nd:  £50 plus publication on the website

Entry fee: £5 (£3) for subscribers

  2. I’ve never written one of these. Time to have a go?

      1. It’s a bit daunting, but will try and do an entry. I didn’t make the Writer’s Bureau short-list (competition featured some weeks back), but at least I had a go. Am going to keep experimenting with different genres and writing styles. The main thing is that I am writing again. Thanks for all the motivational prompts and encouragement.
