I almost made a terrible slip-up this afternoon – I meant to write “I don’t intend to offend,” but I missed out the vital word “don’t.” Luckily I noticed it before I posted.
The post was about a woman who died from sepsis after being scratched by a thorn in her garden.
I scrapped the sentence; saying you’re not trying to offend someone often gives the impression you are.
