    1. When I volunteered at Cats Protection, there was a cat called Dave…and then to other other extreme Horatio!

      1. To be fair, Nick (or Nicky) was an abbreviation of Nicholai Hel, which was the name of a character in a book. He was my cat. When I got together with the mother of my children she had 3 as well – Tipsy, Mush and Beeble, though the latter was also an abbreviation of Beelzebub. I love cat names.
