Stop! Take A Moment
It’s so easy to get caught up in the mundane minutiae of everyday and to forget to simply be. Life is so short. We need to live it. To enjoy it. Make a list of the things that you like, things that make you feel alive, whether it’s the smell of fresh grass making your nostrils tingle, or the feel of sand tickling your toes. It might be unleashing your imagination to the full and writing what you want to write rather than for a specific market. Perhaps it’s having time to catch up on a favourite programme or time to just close your eyes and let your mind take you away to where it wants to.
