Markets For Writers

This week’s market is brought to your by Nica Hawkins de Koenigswarter (aka Sacha Black). A huge big thank you to Nica for sending me this market and for making my Wednesday blog that much easier!

The BBC Writers’ Room: The BBC Radio Drama Readings Unit is inviting submissions for their annual Opening Lines series broadcast on BBC Radio 4 from writers who are new to radio.

It’s only a short window for submissions – January 5th – February 13th 2015.

If you send stories outside this time-frame, they won’t be looked at.

To find out what they’re looking for, word lengths etc., click on the following link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/opportunities/opening-lines
