‘The Writers Bureau’ hold an annual short story and poetry competition. Details can be found on my ‘Markets For Freelancers’ page. They have now announced a new competition for a flash fiction story of up to 500 words.

International entries are welcomed. Each entry costs £5, or three stories for £10. Subscribers to Freelance Market News, only pay £4 per story.

There are three prizes: 1st: £300 plus any Writers bureau course you like 2nd: £200 plus a subscription to Freelance Market News 3rd: £100 plus a subscription to Freelance Market News.

The closing date is 30th November 2014.
