Page Numbers!
With more and more publications accepting submissions by e-mail, it’s easy to get out of the habit of adding page numbers to your work but it’s always useful to include them. The editor may wish to print out a copy of your work. If the pages are numbered, he/she can clearly see the order the work goes in.
Similarly, it’s also a good idea to add your name and title of work to the top right hand corner of each page. This way, the editor can attribute you work to you.
It goes without saying, that if you’re sending your work by post (yes, some publications still only accept work by post), this is a must.
Finally, here’s a Feel-Good Friday pic. Have a great weekend 🙂
