Can You Tell A Story In…

I hope your week is going well. Here’s a new story challenge:

Can you tell a story in 20 words? You must use the following words somewhere in the story:

  • TOE
  • FLAT
  • GRANDMOTHER
  • LETTUCE

Last week’s prompt was to tell a story in 12 words using the following words in it somewhere:

  • CAPSIZE
  • FINGERNAIL
  • GREEN

Here are your brilliant stories:

Darlene:

Her green-painted fingernails hung onto the capsized boat for dear life.

Kim Smith:

I dug my fingernails into the green wood, fearing we would capsize.

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

“You will capsize this fingernail!” said the green goblin to the fairy!

Christopher Farley:

My green hat’s measurement is bigger than my capsize, by a fingernail.

Treehugger:

The yacht capsized. One green fingernail pointed desperately upwards from the water.

Sharron P:

The dinghy capsized, us with it – thanks to Gran’s long, lurid-green fingernail.

  1. My grandmother ate her lettuce sandwich by the lake. She wore flat closed-toe sandals to hide her unpolished nails.
