Can You Tell A Story In…

It’s Thursday once again and that means five-word story time. Your new word this week is:

ADOPT

So can you tell a story in five words using the word ADOPT in it somewhere?

Last week’s word was FAMILY. Here are your FAMILY stories:

Keith Channing:

You cannot choose your family.

Family is but friends are.

Ritu:

Family: A blessing or curse?

My family is so nuts.

Family: responsible for my quirks.

Darlene:

The family from Hell arrived.

Pretending to be a family.

Do not invite that family.

Ruth Scribbles:

I have a large family.

Chosen family members are awesome.

Our family loves your family.

Family involves love and caring.

Christine Mallaband-Brown:

My family and other animals.

Family fortunes are easily lost.

A family of furry ferrets.

Chilly family outing in Iceland.

I sent my family presents.

My family are all ghosts.

Terveen Gill:

I am my only family.

Alsu Remi:

He felled his family tree.

Their family sapling miraculously survives.

Our pride is your family.

Val Fish:

Shameful Harry’s forgotten his family.

Family tree full of skeletons.

Family should always come first.

Have family values been forgotten?

Family feuds can ruin lives.

Feathers fly in family feud.

Fleeing families need our help.

Linking People 2013:

Family, word of six letters.

Family disintegrating in West faster.

Babies fewer in European families.

Refugees surge compensates European families.

American families entertaining refugees now.

EDC Writing:

Family affair… his brother’s wife.

Lance Greenfield:

Ritu’s family love her baking!

Family chief was Bony Tony.

Family size pie for me.

Fun for the whole family?

Shall we start a family?

Relations form fantastic family relationships.

Cricket box protects family jewels.

Nose runs in the family.

Disowned by my far-flung family.

Sharon Harvey:

Family is important to me.

Late family always fondly remembered.

And a few SPELL stories from the previous week’s prompt:

I can say a spell.

Charmed sister witches chant spells.

If only spells came true.

The fun recited spells make.

I love Charmed sisters’ spells.
