This week’s market is for writers who like to craft a longer story. The Fish Short Story Prize has a word limit of 5000 words. Here are some more details for you:
Prizes:
1st: €3,000 plus a 5-day short story workshop at the West Cork Literary Festival
2nd: A week at Anam Cara Writers’ Retreat plus €300
3rd: €300
There will also be 7 honourable mentions. They’ll each receive €200.
Entry fee: €20 (€10 subsequent entries)
Closing date: 30th November 2018
