I stumbled upon an old ad printed in a newspaper in the 1950s and thought, Blimey, how times have changed. So this got me thinking about what other ads there were at that time and how you wouldn’t see these products being advertised with quite such gusto as back then.
So here’s the first ad in my new series. Love and lard – apparently a great combination! Oh, and it looks like it goes well with a glass of sherry!
