My market for your this week is of the horror genre. Dark Markets is a US site, which provides horror writers with free market resources. They hold regular competitions, offering only a small prize but the competitions are exciting and give you the chance to think outside the box.
One competition with a closing date of 1st June 2015 is the Through Clouded Eyes: A Zombie’s View contest which is literally looking for a story told through the eyes of the zombie!
The competition requires stories to be between 4000-8000 words.

Another of their competitions is the Frozen Fairy Tales contest, inviting stories of up to 10,000 words. The story must be a fairy tale set in winter. The closing date for this one is 15th May 2015.
