Top Tip Of The Week

Little Steps

Unless you’re one of the lucky few, you fit your writing round the day job. Add to this Christmas, housework, family, friends and everything else life brings and before you know it, the week has passed by without you sending any writing out. So, then’s the time to think small. Plan to send one piece of work out – be it an article, short story or even a short reader’s letter. Even the busiest amongst you will be able to find the time compose a reader’s letter. That way, by the time four weeks have gone by, you’ll have sent four pieces of writing out.

Once you get into the habit of regularly sending work out, you’ll find that you can fit that extra bit in and instead of one piece of work a week, you’re sending two, then three and so on. As the saying goes, mighty oaks from little acorns grow.
