Top Tip Of The Week

If you’re writing an article which is date/season/time specific, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to write your piece before the actual date/season/time. It may take you a while to research the person/event/subject and then to check all your facts. Then, having written your article, it needs to be received by the editor of your target market in good time e.g. it’s no good writing a piece on the tradition of Christmas trees and sending it in at the end of November. All the Christmas issues will have been planned months before and already be in the shops.
