As a writing tutor and marking most days, I do a lot of typing. So, as you can imagine, I’ve misspelled a few words. On reading work through, I’ve found I’ve typed:
I look forward to hearing from you shorty instead of shortly.
I’ve advised students that editors are very busty people instead of busy people.
One of my comments informed a student that her story had left me with a warty glow instead of a warm glow.
And there are many more! I do always check my work through before I sent it out but apologies if any faux pas have slipped through. 😉
